Hosting AI infrastructure creates a physical presence in Australia. The registry follows the additional questions needed to assess national capability: who owns the assets, which technology they depend on and who can use the resulting compute.

A campus’s proposed end-state, its facility power and its installed AI hardware describe different things. The map keeps operating records, plans and historical observations distinct. Source details retain estimates and commissioning uncertainties.
